Mounds View City Council Page Seven <br /> 0 Regular Meeting May 23 , 1994 <br /> Councilmember Trude stated that sometimes people might consider striping <br /> the road to be a safe crossing, but that there is no such thing as a safe <br /> crossing. <br /> Orduno suggested that the word safe be stricken and the word sidewalk <br /> crossing be added to contingency number 3 . <br /> Councilmember Quick clarified the addition of the wording of contingency <br /> number 3 , "sidewalk to begin at the building to County Road I along the <br /> driveway and move in an easterly direction on the north side of County <br /> Road I to the intersection of Mounds View Drive and that the sidewalk <br /> would be build to City standards. " <br /> Mayor Linke asked in the Maker and Seconder of the motion were in <br /> agreement with these amendments to the original motion. Both Maker and <br /> Seconder were in agreement. <br /> Huggett of Westminster, was asked if the addition of a sidewalk would be <br /> a problem and his indication was no. <br /> Contingency number 4 was added that stated that the approval of the <br /> Development Agreement would be contingent upon successful resolution of <br /> the wetlands issue. <br /> • VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> A. Consideration of Adoption of Ordinance No. 538 Amending Appendix A, <br /> "Specific Rezonings" of the Mounds View Municipal Code <br /> Paul Harrington, Community Development Coordinator, stated that this <br /> rezoning is part of the request by Westminster for the senior <br /> housing project. Harrington stated that the property would be <br /> rezoned from B-3 , Highway Business to PUD, Planned Unit Development. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Quick to Adopt Ordinance No. 538 Amending <br /> Appendix A, "Specific Rezonings" -f the MoundsViewMunicipal -Code <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE: Mayor Linke - yes <br /> Councilmember Wuori - yes <br /> Councilmember Quick - yes <br /> Councilmember Trude - yes <br /> Councilmember Trude asked if the rezoning would have to stay Planned <br /> Unit Development if the project did not go through. <br /> Harrington explained that the property could be rezoned to B-3 if <br /> the project were not to go through. <br /> .
