Mounds View City Council Page Four <br /> 1111 <br /> Regular Meeting October 10, 1994 <br /> Councilmember Trude stated that this calculation is used to determine how <br /> much rain water needs to be stored as it won't be absorbed by the soil <br /> automatically. <br /> Wilczek stated that the he and the City engineer will have to spend some <br /> time together discussing the calculations. <br /> Trude asked if there were any other concerns the engineer had. <br /> Harrington stated that there were no other items discussed but it <br /> was late in the afternoon and time was of the essence. <br /> Councilmember Wuori stated that the City should take its time in <br /> reviewing this item. Wuori stated that the City has had a fair number of <br /> problems dealing with developments and ponding. <br /> Councilmember Trude asked if the preliminary plat fixes the water <br /> retention system or is there flexibility. <br /> Harrington explained that the City will require that the three water <br /> on-site retention ponds be deeded to the City and this ensures that the <br /> City can go in and maintain those ponds and they will function the way <br /> the City wants them to function. <br /> areas andgave the of where they <br /> asked about the three descriptions <br /> were located on the plat. <br /> Harrington stated that the areas discussed previously are just low areas <br /> and may have water stored in them periodically under major storm <br /> conditions. <br /> Mayor Linke placed this item on the agenda for this evening for further <br /> discussion. <br /> PUBL-IC HEARINGS-: <br /> There were no public hearings scheduled for this meeting. <br /> COUNCIL BUSINESS: <br /> There were no Consent Agenda items brought forward. <br /> A. Consideration of Introduction of Ordinance No. 549 Amending Appendix <br /> A, "Specific Rezonings" of the Mounds View Municipal Code <br /> Paul Harrington, Community Development Coordinator, explained that <br /> this item was discussed at the October 3 Work Session. This <br /> Ordinance is a request of Everest Development for a development <br /> proposal on the Building N site in the Mounds View Business Park. <br /> IIII Harrington noted that as part of this request, the applicant asked <br /> that the Council rezone the properties to be utilized for the <br />
