Land Use Plan <br />Objective: A plan to serve as a basis for the delineation of zoning districts <br />and a guide for future development. <br />Product: A large composite display map and text in the planning report. <br />Content: <br />3. Community .acr ties <br />Page Five <br />Delineation of land use categories with basic land use recommenda- <br />tions fully explained in the text, based on results of survey data, <br />analysis, and community goals. <br />Transportation Plan <br />Objective: To produce a community thoroughfare plan of major streets in- <br />tegrated with other local collector and residential streets in <br />relation to County, State, and Federal routes, Other transporta- <br />tion facilities will be included as appropriate. <br />Product: A large composite display map and explanatory text in the planning <br />report. <br />Content: A delineation of recommended thoroughfare routes and other <br />1 transportation facilities to serve the future development pattern. <br />The Transportation Plan will relate future internal and through <br />o traffic patterns in relation to State Highways, the community as a <br />whole, and adjacent communities. The explanatory text will <br />include other transportation systems as appropriate and graphic <br />presentation, arid an explanation of recommended thoroughfare <br />dimension standards complete with detailed explanation of the <br />function and scale of mnjor thoroughfare proposed. A series of <br />the standard cross- sections will be furnished to serve as a guide <br />uniform aonstructlon standards. <br />Objective: To recommend a development plan for location, scale, and <br />function for public and quasi- public land and building uses <br />appropriate to the scale and type of community land uses and <br />development, utilizing accepted standards. <br />Product: A section of the planning report, including graphic presentation <br />and explanatory text of recommended community facilities. <br />
