Mr. Mathern explained that thev would like direction <br />from the Planning Commiasion and presettted the revised plan for, five office <br />buildings nnd outlined how they planned to develop and explained that they <br />would be doing the buildinge in stages. <br />~hairpereon Haake asked if the develop2rs were aware of the water problems <br />1 Mounds View and asked if they would be wilric~g to develop only four <br />"~Guildinga and make tha f3fth area into a wate.r retention area. Mr. Budzynski <br />replied that he had already discussed thaC with OfEicial Roee and that since <br />they would be building as they go, they could provide an-site retention. <br />Co~niesion Me~ber Clszer asked what the anticipated clientel was. Mr. <br />Mathern replled that the Town Companies would be occupying the first build- <br />ing and that the tenante would be kept first nlase and that they would <br />cater to profeesionals. <br />Chairperaon ICaake pointed out that the applicanta have pr~ven they can do <br />a very good ~ob and Chat they do what they say they will, Uased on Cheir <br />paet year in the City. <br />Commission Member Quan stated thet the area in question is awampy and will <br />requira a good deal of space for retention. Mr. t4athern replied that it <br />is the ad~acent property which ia awampy. H~ added that ehAy will cooperate <br />with StafE and the City to pro•aide temporary on-aite retention. <br />r,ormniasion Membex Goebel atated that he wao concerned with getting more <br />water in the grouad on-sil•e rather than letti.ng it move downatream. He <br />added that the applicante should consider it long range and perhaps even <br />a pexwanent facility. He added that they oould possibly use green apace <br />to break uQ the ponding areas. <br />i' c.
