Councilmember Eorr~lund added <br />that ehe o~ae not certain ii tha Councilmemuasa would be preeent ak the <br />interviews. Chr~irperson Haake replied that ehe wonld like to eee them <br />there, if poaeible, and they could slso put a noti~e in the New Brighton <br />Bulletin to inform the public, if they would like to attend. <br />Official Rose re.ported that Staff had discusaed the isaue wi.th the Council <br />ar. an agenda se~sion and that the Pl.anning Commisaion is to come up with <br />criteria which the Council will review, then the Planning Co~iesion is <br />to conduct interviewe with the Council in attendance. <br />Commiseion Member Fedor nsked ho~,~ much wae budgeted for a coneultant. <br />Official Roae replied that it was $10,000. Co~3saion Member Burmeister <br />stated that the Planning Cor~isoion ehould make a reco~endation to tha <br />Council on which aonaulrant they prefer and not get into the budgetary <br />area. <br />Commisaion Member Quan asked that the firma of Bather, Ringrose, Wolsfel.d, <br />Jarvis, Gardner, Inc., Isberg, Riesenberg, Chel.seth & Aesociates, Inc., <br />and Sa.rton Aechman Aesocia[es, Inc, be conr~idered. Chairperaon ftaake <br />asked that Midwest Planning also ~,e coneidered. <br />~~iasion Member Goebel atated that he had called several conmtunities <br />~h the Twin City area regarding their aomprehenaive plan and plAnning <br />etructure, iie statad that their recommendations had been that if there <br />ie in-tiouse alaf£ capable of doing the updat•e, uae the staYf.
