She added the <br />proposed ordinance would be as a conaiicic~nal use, and <br />the applicant would have to go before the Planning <br />Commission and City Council before a tenant would be <br />allowed, and if the conditions are not met, the <br />conditional use permit would be revoked. <br />Councilmember Wuori questioned where the potential <br />tenant went. <br />Mr. Grovel explained they had gone to Spring Lake <br />Park, in the vicinity of 85th and Highway 65. <br />Catherine Carpenter, 2650 Lake Court Drive, stated no <br />one in Silver View Pond wants to see this change, as <br />they have too much traffic already. She stated the <br />people from Dominos Pizza are a problem with the way <br />they speed through the area, and there is also a pro- <br />blem with the traffic associated with Burger King and <br />all the high school students racing there on their <br />lunch hour and after school. <br />• Mayor Hankner closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular:-meeting at 7:27 p.m. <br />Mayor Hankner closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the third public hearing at 7:27 PM. <br />City Planner Herman explained the intent of the pro- <br />posed ordinance is to pull similar uses together in <br />B-2, B-3 and B-4 zoning, <br />Mayor Hankner explained the process followed for <br />consideration of an ordinance adoption. She explained <br />the Council does not have to take action tonight. <br />They could have the first reading, and if it passes, <br />the second reading and adoption would follow in two <br />weeks. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley read the proposed permitted <br />uses for B-2, B-3 and B-4 zoning. <br />Mrs. Carpenter questioned why Dominos Pizza was allowed <br />in B-2 zoning. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley stated he would have to check <br />back through the records, but he believed it was under <br />. bakery and delicatessen.` He explained delivery is not <br />prohibited, and the ordinance was different at the time <br />Dominos came in.
