Mounds View City Council Page Fifteen <br />~egular Meeting July 13, 1992 <br />it is the practice of the City Council to recommend approval or <br />denial of a development in total. <br />the City Council of the City of Mounds View denies the development <br />proposal known as Greenfield Estates as the request does not meet <br />or exceed all requirements for development as defined within the <br />Mounds View Municipal Code. <br />Councilmember Wuori after going through the entire document retracted <br />her second. to the motion to deny the development proposal. <br />Motion died for lack of a second. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Linke/Quick to Approve the Development Proposal Known <br />As Greenfield Estates <br />Council went through each item on the resolution. Amendments to the <br />resolution were made as follows: <br />Request for a Major Subdivision and found that it does conform <br />with all applicable sections of the Mounds View Municipal Code. <br />the Army Corps of Engineers and the City's Engineering Consultant <br />have reviewed the existing wetland boundary and found that a <br />discrepancy does exist in the boundaries shown on the City's <br />official Wetland Zoning Map. <br />the City Council approves the Wetland Zoning District Amendment. <br />to the existing boundaries of Wetland No. 1-19. <br />the Developer must meet the conditions outlined in Chapter 48.06, <br />Subdivisions 1, 2, and 3 in order to obtain a wetland alteration <br />permit <br />the City's Engineering Consultant has reviewed the development <br />proposed with regard to Chapter 48.06, Subdivisions 1, 2, and 3 <br />and found that the request will meet or exceed the requirements <br />contingent upon receipt of supporting information and approval of <br />the same. <br />the City Council approves the Wetland Alteration Permit based on <br />the City Consultant Engineer's findings that the request does meet <br />or exceed the applicable sections of the Municipal Code. <br />the Developer has requested a variance from the 100 foot wetland <br />setback requirement. <br />the City Council has reviewed this request and found that there <br />• are not exceptional or extraordinary circumstances which apply to <br />this property which do not apply generally to other properties in <br />
