Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting <br />Page Five <br />December 27, 1993 <br />proceed with the much needed project of recodifying the <br />Municipal Code. Cruikshank further reported that there were <br />numerous changes made to the 1988 Code,. none of them being <br />policy in nature. Cruikshank stated that only grammatical, <br />obsolete and conflicting language and reorganizational changes <br />were made. Cruikshank presented Ordinance No. 532 Adopting the <br />Municipal Code of Mounds View, Minnesota for Council acceptance <br />of its introduction. <br />Councilmember Trude asked that an amendment be made to <br />Ordinance No. 532. The amendment presented was to change of to <br />or in the second sentence of Section 4. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Trude/Linke to Waive the Reading and Approve <br />the Introduction of Ordinance No. 532 Adopting the Municipal <br />Code of Mounds View, Minnesota <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />F. Consideration of Non-Union Wage Schedule <br />Tim Cruikshank, Assistant to the City Administrator, reported <br />that the proposed pay increase reflects a 2.5~ annual <br />compensation adjustment only. No Stanton or Pay Equity <br />adjustments are recommended at this time due to the uncertainty <br />of how the 1994 hires of the .Economic Development Coordinator, <br />Housing Intern,. Golf Course Superintendent and Public Works <br />Maintenance worker may effect the pay equation. <br />Cruikshank further reported that the non-union wage schedule <br />does not include Police or Public Works personnel. <br />Negotiations with these two groups are still pending. The <br />increase for City contributions to health care is proposed at <br />$10/month, making the total amount $310/month. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Quick to Adopt Resolution No.-4470 <br />Approving the 1994 Wage and Health Benefit Schedule for Non- <br />union Personnel <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />G. Consideration of Resolution No. 4468 Amending the General Fund, <br />Recreation Activity and Water Fund Budgets <br />Don Brager, Finance Director-Treasurer, reported that at the <br />December 6, 1993 Council Work Session staff presented the need <br />to carry forward to 1994 various items included in the 1993 <br />Budget which, due to unforseen circumstances, could not be <br />accomplished in 1993. Brager presented Resolution No. 4468, A <br />Resolution Amending the 1994 General, Recreation Activity and <br />Water Fund Budgets which lists those items to be carried <br />forward. <br />
