Mounds View City Council Page 5 <br />Regular Mee ing March 27, 1995 <br />Counci member Trude requested an explanation of tree removal <br />bids f r residents that might have a tree that needs to be <br />remove which is on their own personal property, not on City <br />prosier v. <br />Ms. Sa rion explained that residents are entitled to the same <br />bid th t the City uses. If they use Brad's Tree Service, <br />their ost will be the same as the City's would be for tree <br />remova services. Everyone has the opportunity to get their <br />own bi s; however, the tree contracting service that the City <br />awards is usually the low bid for individual homeowners as <br />well. <br />Trude ummarized that homeowners would be able to save money <br />for tr a removal services by using the City's bid. For <br />inform tion regarding these bids, residents could call City <br />Hall. <br />• <br />MOTION SECOND: Trude/Quick to Award 1995 Tree Removal <br />Servic s to the Low Bid, Brad's Tree Service <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />E. <br />Samant a Orduno, City Administrator, reported that this <br />reques came from Midwest Golden Gloves to conduct a boxing <br />event. This item is consistent with past events, in which <br />there have been no problems.
