Page 10 <br />January 22, 1996 <br />Mounds View City Council <br />VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Public Hearing to Consider Request for Conditional Use Permit, Development Resource Group, 7295 Silver <br />Lake Road. <br />Mayor Linke opened the Public Hearing at 9:.19 p.m <br />Ms. Joyce Pruitt explained that Terry Malley had applied for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a software <br />and hardware engineering firm at 7295 Silver Lake Road. The property is zoned B-1 and the Municipal Code <br />allows for professional and commercial offices by Conditional Use Permit. She stated the application is in <br />compliance with the Municipal Code and the Planning Commission has reviewed the request and <br />recommended approval with the three following conditions: <br />a. As per the direction of the City Forester, landscaping including the placement of three 2-inch shade trees, <br />American Linden or Sugar Maple, on the north boulevard of the property. <br />b. Repair potholes and seal cracks on the parking lot of the property. <br />c. The Conditional Use Permit shall be recorded with Ramsey County within 60 days of City Council <br />approval, and a receipt of such recording shall be provided to the City of Mounds View. <br />Ms. Pruitt stated the city had received a concern from a neighbor. He noted that the spotlight shines directly <br />into his duplex. She has talked with the applicant in regard to this concern and he has agreed to angle the light <br />downward to alleviate the problem.
