To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8964 <br />Approving the Renewal Mounds View Business Licenses Expiring June 30, 2018 (Non -Liquor) <br />as amended. <br />Mayor Mueller thanked staff for visiting RJ's to ensure their paperwork was submitted on time. <br />Ayes — 4 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />Police Officer Melissa Miller introduced herself to the City Council and discussed her work <br />history prior to working for the Mounds View Police Department. <br />The Council welcomed Officer Miller to the City of Mounds View. <br />I. Resolution 8978, Accepting Bid and Awarding Contract for the Greenfield <br />and Groveland Parks, Tennis and Basketball Court Rehabilitation Project. <br />Public Works Director Peterson requested the Council accept bid and award a contract for the <br />Greenfield and Groveland Parks tennis and basketball court rehabilitation project. He reported <br />plans and specs were completed last year and the project was bid. He explained at the time the <br />project was bid the City only received one response. He stated he was pleased to report the City <br />received two bids after the project was rebid and the results were more favorable. He <br />recommended Fred Kolkmann complete the inspections for this project. Staff provided further <br />comment on the expense of the total project and recommended approval of the request. <br />Council Member Bergeron questioned when this project would begin. Public Works Director <br />Peterson anticipated work would begin shortly noting the project would have to be completed by <br />
