<br />RESOLUTION 9089 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE AE2S (ADVANCED ENGINEERING AND ENVIRONMENTAL <br />SERVICES, INC.) TO PERFORM ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE BRONSON LIFT <br />STATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Bronson Lift Station panel and controls are over 28 years old; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Work Staff consulted with various contractors to provide recommendations <br />for needed improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Staff determined an engineering firm was needed to perform an <br />inspection and make recommendations for improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff received an Proposal from AE2S (Advanced Engineering and Environmental <br />Services for $16,500.00 for design, bidding and construction services for the upgrades; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 2019 Sanitary Sewer budget account 730-4823-7050 has $166,000.00 for the <br />upgrades to the Bronson Lift Station. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the proposal and created an agreement for this <br />project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. AE2S (Advanced Engineering and Environmental Service) Services, Inc. is authorized to perform <br />engineering services of design, bidding and construction at cost $16,500.00, for the Bronson lift <br />station rehabilitation project. <br /> <br />2. To be funded from the 2019 Sanitary Sewer Budget, account 730-4823-7050. <br /> <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all appropriate <br />documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this Resolution. <br /> <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator, staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed to take <br />any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent <br />of this Resolution. <br /> <br />Adopted this 25th day of March, 2019 <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Carol A.
