<br />RESOLUTION 9052 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE PROPOSAL FROM BUETOW 2 ARCHITECTS FOR THE CITY HALL <br />REMODEL PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the option of remodeling City Hall in order to <br />provide more space for the Police Department; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Public Works Staff created a Request for Proposal for architectural services <br />for the remodel; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff sent the proposals out to 5 different firms and received 2 proposals; <br />and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Buetow 2 Architects, Inc. submitted the low cost proposal for Professional <br />Architectural and Engineering Services at $16,800.00 plus reimbursable expenses; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposals were reviewed and Staff recommends the City Council <br />approve the proposal and enter into a contract with Buetow 2 Architects, Inc. for the City Hall <br />Remodel, City Project 2018-C03. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. Accepts the proposal from Buetow 2 Architects for Professional Architectural and <br />Engineering Services for the proposed City Hall Remodel at cost of $16,800.00 plus <br />reimbursable expenses. <br /> <br />2. Approves entering into a contract to provide said services with Buetow 2 Architects as <br />reviewed by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />3. Funding for Architectural and Engineering Services will be from the account 480-4470- <br />7050. <br /> <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all <br />appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution. <br /> <br />5. The Mayor and City Administrator, Staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed <br />to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in order to <br />accomplish the intent of this Resolution. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 10th day of December, 2018 <br /> <br /> <br />Carol A.
