RESOLUTION 9140 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ACCEPT IMPROVEMENTS AND APPROVE FINAL PAYMENT FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY <br />WHEREAS, at the March 13, 2017 City Council meeting the Council approved the construction <br />of a New Public Works Facility; and <br />WHEREAS, Ebert Construction of Corcoran Minnesota, submitted the lowest responsible bid; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Ebert Construction has completed all project site work in a satisfactory manner in <br />accordance with the contract documents; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff met Oertel Architects to review the project, Staff also met with the Finance <br />Director to review the final cost and expenses for this project as follows: <br />Original Estimated Total Project Cost $6,052,000.00 <br />Total Project Cost $6,081,381.00 <br />-$29,381.00 <br />WHEREAS, The final payment amount to Ebert is $5,430.75, (this amount is included in the <br />total project cost); and <br />WHEREAS, Oertel is recommending the project be closed out and the final payment be made; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Public Works recommends that the City Council accept the construction of the <br />Public Works Facility and release final payment of $5,430.75 for the Construction of the Public Works <br />Facility (City Project No. 2017-0O2). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1. All work completed under the contract between the City and Ebert Construction for the construction <br />of the Public Works Facility Project is hereby accepted and approved. <br />2. The Finance Director is authorized to issue final payment of $5,430.75 to Ebert Construction. <br />Funded from account 480-4470-7050-108. <br />Adopted this 22' day of July, 2019 <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Carol A.
