Ordinance 969 – Second Reading and Order Summary Publication Title 900, 2 <br />Chapters 906 and 907 relating to Water Meter Requirements and Sump 3 <br />Pump Discharge. ROLL CALL VOTE 4 <br /> 5 <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve Ordinance 969 related to water 6 <br />meter requirements and sump pump discharge. He explained staff received no input from the 7 <br />public since the First Reading. He commented further on the proposed replacement of the City’s 8 <br />water meters and recommended approval of the Ordinance. 9 <br /> 10 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt Ordinance 11 <br />969 and Order Summary Publication Title 900, Chapters 906 and 907 relating to Water Meter 12 <br />Requirements and Sump Pump Discharge. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Mayor Mueller reported the City has budgeted for the replacement of all water meters and 15 <br />encouraged the public to work with City staff to have their water meter replaced in 2020, 2021 or 16 <br />2022. 17 <br /> 18 <br />ROLL CALL: Bergeron/Gunn/Hull/Meehlhause/Mueller. 19 <br /> 20 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 21 <br /> 22 <br />H. Ordinance 971 – Second Reading and Order Summary Publication Title 23 <br />1000, Chapter 1012 – Rental Housing Licensing. ROLL CALL VOTE 24 <br /> 25 <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council adopt an ordinance relating to rental housing 26 <br />licensing. He explained staff received no input from the public since the First Reading. He 27 <br />commented further on the proposed rental housing licensing program and recommended approval 28 <br />of the Ordinance. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Mayor Mueller questioned how rental property owners could learn about the Mounds View/New 31 <br />Brighton property coalition meetings. Finance Director Beer explained mailings are sent out to 32 <br />rental property owners regarding these meetings. 33 <br /> 34 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Bergeron/Meehlhause.
