The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title 1100, Chapter 1125, Section 1125.02, Subdivision 4(f) of the Mounds View Municipal Code by deleting the stricken material and adding the double-underlined material as follows: f. A variance of this Zoning Code or the granting of an appeal shall be by a simple majority two-thirds (2/3) vote of the full Planning and Zoning Commission serving as the Board of Adjustment and Appeals. In accordance with Section 3.07 of the City Charter, City staff shall have the following summary printed in the official City newspaper in lieu of the complete ordinance: On January 13, 2020, the City Council adopted Ordinance 970 that amends Title 1100, Chapters 1102, 1103, 1104, 1105, 1112, 1113, 1123, and 1125 of the Mounds View City Code. The purpose of the amendment was to update certain zoning provisions to provide for clarification, remove outdated and unnecessary code language, and update the code to conform to current City practices and state law, as necessary. A printed copy of the ordinance is available for inspection during regular business hours at Mounds View City Hall and is available on line at the City’s web site located at www.moundsviewmn.org. SECTION 13. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force 30 days from and after its passage and publication, in accordance with Section 3.09 of the City Charter.
