-2 - <br />Commissioner Long asked if the attendance had been <br />down at the beach. Director Saarion stated that it <br />had been down quite a bit. Inquiries at other <br />beaches show low attendance also for reasons <br />undetermined. <br />The Commission asked about the installation of the <br />volleyball courts. Director Saarion stated that <br />Midwest Asphalt will remove the asphalt from the <br />tennis court. After that, the sandlot volleyball court <br />would be installed in that same area. <br />AGENDA ADDITIONS Director Saarion had five additional items for the <br />agenda which will be added to the end of the <br />original agenda. They are: <br />1. Five Year Capital Improvement Plan review. <br />2. Long Term Financial Plan review. <br />3. Culvert at Silver View Park. <br />4. Silver View Picnic Shelter. <br />5. Consideration of student commission members. <br />SILVER VIEW PARK <br />MASTER PLAN PROPOSAL Director Saarion reviewed her memo to the <br />Commission regarding the establishment of an in- <br />house master plan for improvements at Silver View <br />Park. She requested that the Commission review <br />each item and be very specific as to changes or <br />additions. <br />First, staff reviewed the facilities which are currently <br />developed at Silver View Park. These include: <br />1. Woodchipped pathway - the Commission <br />requested that staff continue to budget for <br />replacement of wood chips with ag lime (750' <br />x 8' strip) each year in the operations budget. <br />2. Two adult softball fields with irrigation. <br />3. Landscaping - continually rearranged as <br />needed, by forester. <br />4. Paved/curbed parking lot entry. <br />
