-7 - <br />It was moved that the 1992 park dedication <br />funds, in the amount of $12,500, be used to <br />construct play equipment for older children at <br />Silver View Park, thus completing a three <br />phase playground construction. It was further <br />moved that the 1993 proposed hard court <br />surface at Lambert Park for $7,500 and the <br />construction of a small picnic shelter at <br />Greenfield Park for $5,000 remain the same. <br />The motion passed: 6 ayes, 0 nayes. <br />1993 - Must be requested from general fund if <br />park improvement funds are not sufficient. <br />Hard court surface at Lambert $7,500.00 <br />Greenfield Picnic Shelter 5,000.00 <br />The Commission directed staff to write a <br />resolution to be submitted to the City Council <br />proposing the above changes to the Five Year <br />Capital Improvement Plan. <br />LONG TERM FINANCIAL PLAN Staff distributed copies of the 1989 proposed <br />Long Term Financial Plan and reviewed it <br />with the Commission. After a lengthy <br />discussion regarding the proposed Arsenal <br />playfield and the SYSCO land use study and <br />parks survey, the Commission recommended <br />the following changes to the Long Term <br />Financial Plan: <br />1990 <br />Change Oakwood Play Facilities to Silver View <br />Play Facilities - $8,000 - Park Dedication <br />Fund. <br />Remove $1,000 for feasibility study for Silver <br />View Park pond bridge - to be done in-house. <br />After a lengthy discussion regarding the <br />proposed Arsenal Play Field, the Commission <br />stated that they agreed with the concept of <br />the combined three city Arsenal Play Field, but <br />felt it was speculative at this time and that to <br />tie $50,000 for the project was unrealistic. <br />
