aTV OF
"Quite Simply the Best"
April 12, 1994
Mr. Richard Curran
7935 Greenfield Ave.
Mounds View, MN 55112
Dear Mr. Curran:
Phone: (612) 784-3055
Fax: (612) 784-3462
City Hall has received several calls from residents complaining
about dog feces at Greenfield Park. You have been named to have
permitted your dog to defecate in the park without removing the
droppings as required in City Code 52.25. City parks are
provided for the enjoyment of all people, and all users must
comply with rules and regulations if we wish to keep the parks
attractive to all recreation users. Evidently, the problem of
dog feces in Greenfield Park is becoming such a problem that
little children cannot even walk the grassy areas without fear of
stepping in dog feces.
Letters such as this one will be sent to all those that we can
name or locate, who have been observed breaking the rules by not
cleaning up after their dogs.
Please comply with the rule. If you wish to walk your leashed
dog in the parks, please be sure to clean up after them. The
penalty for this infraction is $25.00 per incident. Your
consideration of other users of the park will be greatly
appreciated. -
Sincerely,
Mary Saarion, Director
Parks, Recreation & Forestry
FRIIMa VVITA -O
SOYINK w 2401 Highway 10 • Mounds View, MN 55112-1499
recycled paper
