CNT old
jims
L5W
"Quite Simply the Best"
April 21, 1994
Dear Resident:
Phone: (612) 784-3055
Fax: (612) 784-3462
The City of Mounds View has received several complaints about
people cutting down brush at Silver View Park. THIS IS AN
ADMINISTRATION OFFENSE, SUBJECT TO A FINE. Please be informed
that it is illegal for any resident to cut any growth whether it
be plants, trees, bushes or grass in the parks without the
consent of the City. The park ordinance is enclosed as well as a
letter written by the Parks and Recreation Commission for your
information. This information has been provided previously to
residents surrounding Silver View Park and it is very frustrating
when these kinds of incidents continue to occur even after
previous warnings against park property mutilation.
The Police Department has been alerted to the problem and will be
patrolling the area more frequently with special observations for
persons who are defacing the parks natural amenities.
Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. If you
observe persons cutting growth in the parks or vandalizing the
parks in other ways, please call the police immediately at 784-
3771 and the Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department at 784-0618.
Sincerely,
Mary Saarion, Director
Parks, Recreation & Forestry
4 PRINTzri WfTH ,•L."
SOYZNK
4C11 Hinhwav 1 fl • Mni inis Via.v MN .551 1 -1 d94
