RESOLUTION NO. 9268 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE HIRE OF ISAIAH SCHOEMAN <br />TO THE POSITION OF HOUSING/CODE/FIRE INSPECTOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Mounds View posted for a Housing/Code/Fire Inspector; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Six (6) completed application packets were received and four (4) <br />interviews were conducted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, An interview panel comprised of Chief Building Official Henly, Police <br />Officer Heineman, SBM Assistant Chief Retka, and Human Resources Coordinator Ewald <br />conducted a first interview on April 13, 2020; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS , An interview panel comprised of City Administrator Zikmund, Community <br />Development Director Sevald, and Human Resources Coordinator Ewald conducted a second <br />interview on April 21, 2020 ; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, At the end of the interview process staff engaged in discussion and came to <br />a conclusion for a recommendation. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves the hiring of Isaiah Schoeman to the position of Housing/Code/Fire Inspector <br />starting May 26, 2020 at Step 1 in the 2020 Pay Plan, complete a six-month probationary <br />period and advance to Step 1.5 on his six month anniversary based on successful job <br />performance. <br />Step 1 Step 1.5 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 <br />$29.49 $30.41 $31.33 $33.17 $35.02 $36.86 <br /> <br /> Adopted this 11th day of Ma y, 2020. <br /> <br /> <br /> Carol A.
