Mounds View City Council June 22, 2020 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve the renewal of the Mounds View 1 <br />business licenses (non-liquor). He noted a prorated rate was being offered to all businesses that 2 <br />were forced to close per an executive order from the governor. Staff discussed the businesses 3 <br />that had been closed due to the Stay at Home order. 4 <br /> 5 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9282, 6 <br />Approving the Renewal of Mounds View Business Licenses (Non-Liquor). 7 <br /> 8 <br />A roll call vote was taken. 9 <br /> 10 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 11 <br /> 12 <br />C. Resolution 9288, Approving COVID-19 Preparedness Plan. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Human Resources Coordinator Ewald requested the Council approve a COVID-19 preparedness 15 <br />plan. She explained this plan was a requirement per an executive order from Governor Walz. She 16 <br />indicated this was meant to be a fluid document that could be expanded upon as time goes on and 17 <br />events change during the COVID-19 pandemic. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Mayor Mueller questioned if the staff time spent on this document could be reimbursed by 20 <br />CARES Act dollars. Finance Director Beer stated this would be a reimbursable expense. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Mayor Mueller thanked staff for their efforts on this document. 23 <br /> 24 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9288, 25 <br />Approving COVID-19 Preparedness Plan. 26 <br /> 27 <br />A roll call vote was taken. 28 <br /> 29 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 30 <br /> 31 <br />D. Resolution 9289, Accepting Proposals and Awarding Contract to Bergerson 32 <br />Caswell, Inc. for Municipal Well No. 6 Rehabilitation. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Public Works Director Peterson requested the Council accept proposals and award a contract to 35 <br />Bergerson Caswell, Inc. for the rehabilitation of Municipal Well No. 6. He discussed the work 36 <br />that would be done on Well No. 6 and noted Bergerson Caswell has successfully completed 37 <br />projects in Mounds View in the past. Staff commented further on the project and recommended 38 <br />approval. 39 <br /> 40 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9289, 41 <br />Accepting Proposals and Awarding Contract to Bergerson Caswell, Inc. for Municipal Well No. 6 42 <br />Rehabilitation. 43 <br /> 44 <br />A roll call vot e was taken. 45
