Front Desk Lead <br />January 04, 2021 <br />Page 2 <br />NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES <br />• Ability to understand and follow instructions; <br />• Exceptional organizational and multi -tasking skills and ability to prioritize work flow <br />according to immediate demands in a fast -paced environment. <br />• Ability to perform cashier duties accurately; <br />• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the general public, <br />• Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills. <br />TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED <br />Microsoft Office Suite applications in a windows environment; copy machine; postage machine; <br />and calculator. <br />PHYSICAL DEMANDS <br />The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an <br />employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. <br />This work regularly requires occasional exertion of up to 25 pounds of force; work regularly <br />requires standing, bending, reaching, and walking. Frequently requires sitting, speaking or <br />hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel and repetitive motions and occasionally requires <br />stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms and lifting. Work requires <br />close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, depth perception and color perception. Vocal <br />communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and <br />conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing is <br />required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels. Occasionally there may be <br />exposure to blood -borne pathogens and may be required to wear specialized personal protective <br />equipment. <br />WORK ENVIRONMENT <br />The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee <br />encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. <br />The noise level in the work environment occasionally may become elevated due to high customer <br />volumes or activities. <br />SELECTION GUIDELINES <br />Formal application; rating of education/training and experience; oral interview; job related tests <br />may be required; reference checks, Minnesota Computerized Criminal History and Predatory <br />Offender Registry checks; and non -DOT pre -employment drug screen. <br />The duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be <br />performed.
