Mounds View City Council November 22, 2021 <br />Regular Meeting Page 5 <br /> <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Mueller closed the public hearing at 7:20 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked if staff received any comments from the public regarding the <br />Ordinance amendment. Community Development Director Sevald reported received no <br />comments regarding this matter. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt <br />Ordinance 985, Amending the Zoning Map for Properties at 4889 Old Highway 8 and 4943 Old <br />Highway 8 directing staff to publish an Ordinance summary. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Bergeron/Cermak/Hull/Meehlhause/Mueller. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />C. Public Hearing: Resolution 9496, Approving the Preliminary/Final Plat of <br />Skyline. <br /> <br />Community Development Director Sevald requested the Council approve the Preliminary/Final <br />Plat for the Skyline property, which would become the Villas of Mounds View. It was noted a <br />small portion of land was also being set aside for BioClean. The park dedication fees that would <br />be paid to the City for the land sale was reviewed with the Council and staff recommended <br />approval of the Plat. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller opened the public hearing at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Mueller closed the public hearing at 7:26 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller asked what direction the Planning Commission gave regarding this request. <br />Community Development Director Sevald reported the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval of the Preliminary/Final Plat. He noted most of the discussion held by the Planning <br />Commission had focused on the PUD. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9496, <br />Approving the Preliminary/Final Plat of Skyline. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause noted $425,000 in park dedication fees would be paid to the City for <br />this project, which would be the second largest fee paid to the City. He noted these dollars could <br />be used for capital improvements within the City’s parks. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />D.
