RESOLUTION NO 9570 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING RENE MONTERO TO VACANT PUBLIC WORKS <br />MAINTENANCE WORKER — WASTEWATER POSITION <br />WHEREAS, a Public Works Maintenance Worker — Wastewater position became <br />available due to a resignation on March 18, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Collective Bargaining Agreement requires jobs be <br />posted internally for five (5) working days; and <br />WHEREAS, staff advertised the Wastewater position internally and received a letter <br />of interest from one (1) candidate, Parks and Recreation Facilities Maintenance staff, Rene <br />Montero; and <br />WHEREAS, staff evaluated the candidate and recommends appointing Mr. Montero <br />to the vacant Wastewater position effective March 29, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Montero will start at Level A of the pay scale according to the 2020- <br />2022 Public Works Collective Bargaining Agreement and advance to Level B upon successful <br />completion of a one (1) year probationary period within the position. <br />2022 Pay Plan <br />Level A <br />Level B <br />Level C <br />$29.30 <br />$30.93 <br />$32.56 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council hereby <br />appoints Rene Montero to the vacant Public Works Maintenance Worker — Wastewater <br />Position effective March 29, 2022 at Pay Level A. <br />Adopted this 28t" day of March 2022. <br />Carol A.
