• 2 Weapons related Investigations <br />Officers were called to the 2100 block of Dickens Lane for a Domestic Assault Report. The suspect and <br />his girlfriend were having a bonfire when the suspect became upset with the girlfriend, then picked up <br />the fire pit and threw the active fire and burning logs/coals on her. The case was further investigated by <br />Investigator Erickson and is now pending charges with the Attorney's Office. <br />Officers received a call from the caller stating that his adult son was missing. The caller's son lives in <br />Mounds View, but was supposed to by traveling to Florida and North Carolina. The caller and family <br />were now unable to reach him. Through the investigation the son was located in Jackson FL after being <br />in a serious car accident. The family was notified. <br />Officer responded to the 2900 block of Mounds View Blvd for a theft report of a stolen bicycle. <br />Investigator Erickson reviewed camera footage and was able to identify the suspect taking the bicycle. <br />After making contact with the suspect, the bicycle was returned to the owner. <br />Officers had received numerous complaints from the caller reporting that her ex has been harassing and <br />stalking her. The caller lived in CA with her ex where he has harassment charges pending there as well. <br />The victim had moved to Mounds View MN to get away from him. The suspect found her and showed <br />up and began to repeatedly harass her by repeated text messages, phone calls from various numbers, <br />fake Facebook accounts, showing up outside her window and sending messages of him watching her <br />from outside the apartment. The suspect sent several messages and calls about killing the victim or that <br />he was going to kidnap her. The suspect also made false reports to police dispatch stating that there <br />were weapons and gun shots fired, giving the victim's address. The suspect is also believed to have <br />stolen items from the victim's car and damaged her car. The suspect was eventually located and <br />arrested where he was then charged in custody with felony Stalking. <br />Officers responded to the 2200 block for a male that attempted to rob a business by a note advising the <br />business that this was a robbery and demanding money. Officers and investigator were able to locate <br />the suspect and take him into custody. Investigator Erickson interviewed the suspect who admitted to <br />the robbery. Investigator found that this was the suspect's 4th robbery. The suspect was arrested and <br />charged in custody by the County Attorney's Office. <br />Investigator Erickson was conducting predatory offender registrations and found that the suspect was <br />not living at his registered primary residence. Further investigation showed the predatory offender not <br />to be in compliance with registration. The predatory was charged by criminal complaint and a warrant is <br />out for his arrest. <br />
