17) Traffic increase on Woodale and Jeffery Dr. Due to Greystone flats and School driveway <br />along with closure of Greenfield. Jeffery Dr. has significantly increased traffic count and <br />speeds on our streets. <br />18) Woodale is now a dangerous street due to resizing (narrowing w/no ghost lane lines) and <br />removal of all on street parking. School field parking is now backing up on to and consuming <br />street parking on Edgewood, Greenfield, Jeffery and O'Connell with school and field sporting <br />events. All Woodale addresses have no on street parking unless they are corner properties. <br />19) Woodale with redesigned sidewalk addition should now be considered a school speed zone <br />since it meets all the same properties as Edgewood drive for traffic and pedestrian concerns. <br />Busses, trucks and cars are all speeding on Woodale and now with the sidewalk for <br />additional pedestrian traffic there needs to be more control of this area along the schools <br />field and parking lot on Woodale. Not to mention schools have already been over populated <br />and capacity is still an issue. <br />20) These last large scale developments were approved and locals were told that local property <br />taxes would go down and stay in control due to the huge increase in the tax base from the <br />developments yet to date we have not seen this to occur and property taxes have been <br />skyrocketing since these developments were built. TIFF is not good for the city as it delays <br />the tax revenue and citizens pay for these huge developments for many years. Do NOT <br />approve this Development for the Woodale apartments. It's unsafe and not a good fit for <br />this small plot of land. You have waited for other development areas and you can wait for <br />this one for a better suited development. This project would be better suited for TCCAP or <br />the land behind the theatre on Long Lake and Co. Rd H2. As there is already R4 properties <br />adjacent to this land. Do NOT Develop High Density R4 or PUD projects on top of R1 homes. <br />Especially when it takes rezoning the property from current R1 to accommodate the <br />development. Just not right! <br />As you saw at the last rezoning meeting 11/18/22 the entire residential public around this <br />development do not want this project to go through so as publicly elected officials that are meant to <br />represent the voice of the city you should vote down this project and mind the public's opinion.
