RESOLUTION NO. 9664 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING SEPARATION COMPENSATION FOR <br />POLICE SERGEANT TIMOTHY WOLF <br />WHEREAS, Police Sergeant Timothy Wolf has retired from the City of Mounds View due <br />to a disability; with a last employment date of November 25, 2022; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 21 of the Labor Agreement between the City of <br />Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) Local No. 232, Sergeant <br />Wolf will receive a cash payout of vacation hours and compensatory time. Sergeant Wolf has a <br />balance of accrued and unused vacation of 228.64 hours and compensatory time balance of <br />3.50 hours; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual and Article 22 of the <br />Labor Agreement between the City of Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, <br />Inc. (LELS) Local No. 232, 50% of accrued sick leave hours will be deposited into the Retirement <br />Health Savings Plan. Sergeant Wolf has a sick leave balance of 518.75 hours (50% = 259.38 <br />hours); and <br />WHEREAS, the rate of pay for Sergeant Wolf upon resignation was $50.52 per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves <br />separation compensation to Sergeant Wolf consistent with the Labor Agreement between the <br />City of Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) Local No. 232, and <br />Section 5.03 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual as follows: <br />Hours <br />Hourly rate <br />Payout <br />Vacation Hours <br />228.64 <br />$50.52 <br />$11,550.89 Cash Payout <br />Compensatory Hours <br />3.50 <br />$50.52 <br />$ 176.82 Cash Payout <br />50% Sick Leave <br />259.38 <br />$50.52 <br />$13,103.88 Into RHSP <br />Total Separation <br />Compensation: <br />$24,831.59 <br />Adopted this 12t" day of December, 2022. <br />Carol A.
