RESOLUTION NO. 9664 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AUTHORIZING SEPARATION COMPENSATION FOR POLICE SERGEANT TIMOTHY WOLF WHEREAS, Police Sergeant Timothy Wolf has retired from the City of Mounds View due to a disability; with a last employment date of November 25, 2022; and WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 21 of the Labor Agreement between the City of Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) Local No. 232, Sergeant Wolf will receive a cash payout of vacation hours and compensatory time. Sergeant Wolf has a balance of accrued and unused vacation of 228.64 hours and compensatory time balance of 3.50 hours; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual and Article 22 of the Labor Agreement between the City of Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) Local No. 232, 50% of accrued sick leave hours will be deposited into the Retirement Health Savings Plan. Sergeant Wolf has a sick leave balance of 518.75 hours (50% = 259.38 hours); and WHEREAS, the rate of pay for Sergeant Wolf upon resignation was $50.52 per hour. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves separation compensation to Sergeant Wolf consistent with the Labor Agreement between the City of Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) Local No. 232, and Section 5.03 of the Mounds View Personnel Manual as follows: Hours Hourly rate Payout Vacation Hours 228.64 $50.52 $11,550.89 Cash Payout Compensatory Hours 3.50 $50.52 $ 176.82 Cash Payout 50% Sick Leave 259.38 $50.52 $13,103.88 Into RHSP Total Separation Compensation: $24,831.59 Adopted this 12t" day of December, 2022.
