RESOLUTION 9725 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OR RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING RECRUITMENT PROCESS FOR PARKS AND RECREATION <br />FACILITY COORDINATOR POSITION AND APPROVE JOB DESCRIPTION <br />WHEREAS, effective October 2020, Council recommended approval of the City operating <br />a Parks and Recreation Department, and building a team of staff to operate the facility; and <br />WHEREAS, the Facility Coordinator position will respond to event center inquiries during <br />evening and weekend hours from Wednesday through Saturday evenings; and <br />WHEREAS, the Facility Coordinator position will assist with responsibilities associated <br />with the facility during banquets, parties, weddings, etc., providing information to guests and <br />allowing for continual operation of the Event Center; and <br />WHEREAS, the Facility Coordinator position will assist with training to part-time staff and <br />cleaning during events, ensuring the night cleaning is underway at the conclusion of events; and <br />WHEREAS, the job description has been created, scored, and reviewed by the HR <br />Committee. The position is rated as a full-time, non-exempt status and will report directly to the <br />Parks and Recreation Superintendent, and falls within the following pay range: <br />2023 Pay Plan <br />Start <br />Step 1 <br />6 Months <br />Step 1.5 <br />1 Year <br />Step 2 <br />2 Years <br />Step 3 <br />3 Years <br />Step 4 <br />4 Year <br />Step 5 <br />$24.10 <br />$24.86 <br />$25.61 <br />$27.12 <br />$28.62 <br />$30.13 <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds View <br />Authorizes the Recruitment Process for the Parks and Recreation Facility Coordinator Position and <br />Approves the Job Description for a full-time, non-exempt position with the above listed pay plan <br />scale. <br />Adopted this 27t" day of March, 2023 <br />Al Hull, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
