Yes. <br />Commissioners asked; “Why is the wall an issue? Why is it proposed to be added? The neighborhood group requested it since the project was under budget. <br /> <br />Motion to approve adding the wall to the project: Kunza <br /> 2nd: Kunz <br />Motion passed unanimously <br /> <br /> <br />Color Scheme: The Neighborhood Group recommended: Plastic – Red, Steel – Blue for the main portion of the playground equipment. The toddler area would be the reverse of this: Plastic <br /> – Blue, Steel – Red. The dinosaur was recommended to be green. <br />Staff concurred with this recommendation stating that these were “traditional” colors. Staff also indicated that brighter colors are more susceptible to graffiti. <br /> <br />Motion to accept the color scheme as presented: Aukee <br /> 2nd: Kunza <br />Motion passed unanimously <br /> <br />The Commissioners ask to what “standards the specification will meet?” Staff will determine these standards and will memorialize it those standards by recording that “as of this time <br /> / date these are the standards the playground equipment meets”. <br />The Commissioners ask if the site preparation and equipment was included in the proposed costs. It is not –Staff will perform these functions. <br />With the remaining budget the Commissioners wanted to erect a sign / plaque to state – Greenfield Park, Date erected, list of donators. <br />Commissioners also wanted to make sure it was handicapped accessible. <br /> <br />Motion to use remaining budget to make the play equipment handicapped accessible and to erect a dedication sign: <br />Motion passed remaining budget unanimously <br /> <br />Cindy Palm, Greenfield Park Neighborhood Group Leader, publicly thanked the Commissioners, Staff, and tall of the companies that donated to this project.
