• <br /> Minnesota Emergency Employment Development Act <br /> 111/1 Program expires June 30, 1985 <br /> Use of Funds <br /> 1. State contribution will be $4/hour. Both <br /> public and private sector employers may <br /> subsidize wages in addition to the $4/hour. <br /> 2. The state contribution for fringe benefits <br /> will be up to $1/hour. <br /> 3. Maximum of 1,040 hours. <br /> 4. Maximum of 26 wccks. <br /> 5. If the eligible participant is enrolled <br /> in a jab training program, the wage con- <br /> tribution may be used over a maximum of <br /> 52 weeks. <br /> 6. To provide child care or subsidies. <br /> 7. To provide Workers Compensation to applicants <br /> employed in government or non-profit agencies. <br /> 8. To provide jcb :arch assistance, labor market <br /> orientation, job seeking skills and referral <br /> services. <br /> 111/1 <br /> 9. To pur�ase supplies and material for creating <br /> permanent improvements to public property in <br /> an amount not to exceed 1% of funds appropriated. <br /> Government and Nonprofit Eligibility - <br /> A government or nonprofit agency is an eligible employer <br /> with respect to temporary work relief projects that are <br /> determined by the employment administrator to have long- <br /> term benefit to or are needed by the community including, <br /> but not limited to: <br /> 1. jobs in permanent public improvement <br /> projects, <br /> 2. residential or public building weather- <br /> ization projects, <br /> 3. reforestation projects, <br /> 4. mineland reclamation projects, <br /> 5. natural resource development projects, and <br /> 6. community social service programs such as <br /> Child care and hone health care. <br /> 111/1 <br />
