Minutes <br /> • Page four <br /> STAFF REPORT Staff highlighted the monthly report in- <br /> dicating that adult softball registration <br /> was extremely high for 1983. We currently <br /> have over 40 softball teams between our <br /> mens and womens recreational , mens and <br /> womens competitive , mens over 35 and <br /> co-rec softball leagues. This is an <br /> increase of about 6 teams from last year <br /> with the major addition being the return <br /> of the co-rec softball program. Staff <br /> also indicated that Police Chief <br /> Grabowski was retiring after 25 years of <br /> service to the City and that Director <br /> Anderson had the opportunity to attend the <br /> Minnesota Society of Landscape Architects <br /> Conference at which time an overview of the <br /> Minneapolis River Road Project was <br /> discussed. <br /> ADJOURNMENT A motion was made to adjourn the regularly <br /> scheduled Park and Recreation Commission <br /> meeting at 8: 37 p.m. by Commission Bowman, <br /> seconded by Commission Letendre .
