Level Police officer will receive the remaining $1,500 (less taxes). <br />C. All hiring bonus amounts must be re -paid in full to the City in the event the new <br />Officer's employment ends, voluntarily or involuntarily, within two (2) years of the <br />date of hire. <br />Lateral Level Hiring Bonus — Experienced Police Officer <br />The City will pay a Lateral Level hiring bonus of $6,000 to experienced Police Officers. <br />A. Upon successful completion of Field Training (FTO), the Lateral Level Police <br />Officer will receive $3,000 (less taxes). <br />B. Upon successful completion of probation (one-year of employment), the Lateral <br />Level Police officer will receive the remaining $3,000 (less taxes). <br />C. All hiring bonus amounts must be re -paid in full to the City in the event the Lateral <br />Officer's employment ends, voluntarily or involuntarily, within two (2) years of the <br />date of hire. <br />The Police Department Employee Referral Incentive and Retention Bonus Policy may <br />expire when the department is fully staffed. <br />
