This ordinance would total- <br /> ly replace Chapter 52. 03 and would read as follows: <br /> CHAPTER 52 .03 <br /> 52 . 03 INTOXICATING AND NON-INTOXICATING BEVERAGES <br /> Subdivision 1 . Definitions. The following terms shall <br /> have the meanings described herein: <br /> ( 1 ) "Sale" means all means of furnishing and includes but <br /> is not limited to the furnishing for money or other <br /> consideration . <br /> ( 2 ) "Beer" means any beverage which is produced wholly or <br /> in part from the brewing of any grains or malt or <br /> malt substitute and containing more than one-half of <br /> one percent alcohol by volume . <br /> 1111 ( 3 ) "Organization" means any entity having religious, <br /> veteran , charitable or business activities as its <br /> principal purpose and which qualifies in all respects <br /> for the issuance of a license to sell the type of <br /> beer to be furnished at the activity or event for <br /> which the permit is being sought. <br /> Subdivision 2. Permit . Any organization desiring to sell <br /> beer in a City Park must apply for a permit to do so. <br /> Such application shall be made upon forms furnished by the <br /> City Parks and Recreation Director for that purpose . <br /> Subdivision 3. Application . The application shall con- <br /> tain the following information together with any addition- <br /> al information requested by the City: <br /> ( 1 ) Full name and address of the organization . <br /> ( 2 ) A brief statement of the organization ' s purposes and <br /> activities. <br /> • <br />
