Also, a stage that has enclosed wings <br /> and an access to changing area approximately 30 'long x 15 <br /> wide. Also storage area for stage needs such as curtain, <br /> podiums, etc. <br /> Storage room was also mentioned as an important part of the <br /> RSCC. <br /> Fitness Room - - it was indicated that the fitness room <br /> needed to be of adequate size for increased fitness programs. <br /> Also, a special aerobics floor would be preferred, with <br /> mirrors on at least one wall and hand rails. The fitness room <br /> would be designed so that it could offer multi-purpose use. <br /> Other special rooms included the pool table room, <br /> woodworking room, etc. Mr. O'Brien acknowledged the Task <br /> Force's request that each interest room would be connected <br /> to a cost and affordability. <br /> • SITE SELECTION: Mr. O'Brien asked about the site selection process. Plans will <br /> be provided for both the Anoka Park land site and the Rice <br /> Creek Plaza site. Jack Kirk explained the site selection <br /> process. <br /> A resident of Fridley was present at the meeting to explain <br /> his concerns of the RSCC site on Anoka Park land. His <br /> concern is that it would be within view of his backyard. Also, <br /> he had a concern about the noise possibilities during <br /> weekends events and the increase of traffic on the road. <br /> Todd indicated to Mr. O'Brien that he did not want to be <br /> able to see the RSCC. Mr. O'Brien replied that the design of <br /> the building could be so that there would be little impact on <br /> the neighboring properties. <br /> Todd had other concerns including his and his neighbor's lack <br /> of knowledge about the RSCC. He did not feel that the <br /> neighbors had enough forewarning about the RSCC location. <br /> • <br />
