Resolution 9912, Authorizing the Purchase of an F350 Service Pickup Truck <br />with Dump Body. <br /> <br />Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council authorize the <br />Purchase of an F350 Service Pickup Truck with Dump Body. He reported the Public Works <br />Department has a 2005 F250 4x4 that would be sent to auction and would be replaced with an <br />F350 service pickup with a nine foot dump body. He reviewed the State bid quote that was received <br />for this truck and recommended approval of the purchase. It was noted this purchase was included <br />in the 2024 parks budget. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn reported the new trucks for the Public Works Department will last a lot of <br />years for the City. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Clark. Resolution 9913, Approving A Change Order for Driveway Alterations for the <br />2022/23 Street Project. <br /> <br />Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council approve a Change <br />Order for Driveway Alterations for the 2022/23 Street Project. He explained the contractor was <br />in the final phase of project to include punch list items and warranty work. He reported staff <br />recently received several letters from residents expressing concerns over the driveway openings <br />on Spring Lake Road north of Mounds View Boulevard. Staff was directed to provide a cost <br />estimate to widen the driveway openings that were installed under 12 feet. He noted driveway <br />replacement and installation of 12 foot aprons was estimated to cost $49,677.77. He indicated <br />driveway alterations was estimated to cost $7,803.37. He reviewed diagrams with the Council and <br />noted after speaking with T.A. Schifsky’s Option 2 would cost the City $70,771 and a full <br />driveway replacement would cost $177,020. He requested the Council provide staff with direction
