• The Commissioners then proceeded to go through the list of Category <br />B items and place them into three groupings based on the year the <br />Commissioners would like to have them implemented. <br />• The final listing is attached. <br />• Greenfield Park: oldest park in terms of play structures. Major <br />replacement scheduled for 2010. <br />• Commission was joined by two residents <br />• There was a discussion pertaining to replacing the oldest equipment <br />first as a way to schedule the park equipment replacements. <br />• Danzenski thought the condition of the equipment at Greenfield Park <br />is "good". <br />• I-roeger stated that the equipment should be replaced based on age <br />unless there are some significant wear or tear. <br />• Mandoza disagrees; it should be based more on use. <br />• Vandalism may also be a factor when considering replacing <br />equipment. <br />• Commissioners agreed to recommend to commit a $5000 expenditure <br />in Greenfield Park for 2005. <br />• Community Survey is on hold until City Council makes a decision on <br />this issue. <br />4. New Business: <br />a) Change the November and December Meetings to the third week (i.e. Nov <br />20" & Dec. 18`x') <br />Motion to accept <br />Motion: Edmond <br />2nd: I-unz <br />Motion passed unanimously <br />5. Commissioner/Staff Reports <br />Purple Loostrife — Insect treatment status <br />• Insects (beetles) will be available in the spring of 2004 <br />• Staff will harvest mature beetles in may of June of 2004 and <br />relocate them in problem areas. <br />DNR is reporting that the Purple Loostrife issue is becoming less <br />of a problem. <br />Silver View Pond Report <br />• Feasibility report was ordered. It will be available in Late <br />December or January 2004. <br />2 <br />
