MOUNDS,STVFEW- <br />2401 Mounds View Boulevard * Mounds View MN 55112-1499 <br />Phone: 763 — 717-4000 * Fax 763-717-4019 <br />Housing - Electrical - Minimum Standard Electrical panels, wiring, switches and outlets must be <br />installed to meet the minimum requirements of the State Electrical Code (IPMC: 605.1) Garages <br />1,2,and 3 all have electrical that has been added, altered, or left unfinished. All previous work <br />was not inspected by the State Electrical Inspector. Have a licensed electrician perform a <br />safety check on all electrical components in these units. Make any repairs or corrections as <br />necessary and have the State Electrical Inspector perform and approve a final inspection <br />Laundry Room <br />Housing - Mechanical - Dryer Vent Repair or replace dryer vent. Exhaust ducts for domestic <br />dryers shall be constructed of metal and shall have a smooth interior finish. The exhaust duct <br />size shall be 4 inches nominal in diameter. Ducts shall not be joined with screws or similar <br />fasteners that protrude into the inside of the duct. (IMC 504.6) Remove all screws from dryer <br />ducting, and seal all connections with foil HVAC tape. <br />Housing — Maintenance — (IPMC 102.2) Maintenance. Equipment, systems, devices and <br />safeguards required by this code or a previous regulation or code under which the structure or <br />premises was constructed, altered or repaired shall be maintained in good working order. <br />Multiple tenants reporting the dryer is not drying clothes when in use. Repair or replace the <br />clothes dryer as necessary. <br />Housing - Fire Safety - Smoke Alarms Repair or replace missing and/or inoperable smoke alarm. <br />MN Statute 299F.362) The hallway smoke alarm outside the laundry room door is missing. <br />Replace missing smoke alarm. <br />Unit #3 <br />Housing — Maintenance — (IPMC 102.2) Maintenance. Equipment, systems, devices and <br />safeguards required by this code or a previous regulation or code under which the structure or <br />premises was constructed, altered or repaired shall be maintained in good working order. The <br />wall a/c unit is not properly fit to the opening. It is held in place by flammable foam pieces. <br />Repair or replace as necessary to ensure proper fitment and finishing materials. <br />Housing - Electrical - Minimum Standard Electrical panels, wiring, switches and outlets must be <br />installed to meet the minimum requirements of the State Electrical Code (IPMC: 605.1) The wall <br />a/c unit is wired directly into the wall outlet. Have a licensed electrician return outlet to <br />intended use and function. Replace damaged a/c unit. <br />Housing — Fire Safety — Smoke Alarms. Replacement of smoke alarms. Single- and multiple <br />station smoke alarms shall be replaced when: They exceed 10 years from the date of <br />manufacture. Smoke alarms shall be replaced with smoke alarms having the same type of <br />power supply.
