Consideration <br />of Renewal of <br />There were no comments from the audience, so Mayor Off-Sale <br />Hankner closed the public hearing and reopened the License for <br />regular meeting at 7:41 PM. Budget Liquor <br />Motion/Second : Quick/Paone to approve the renewal <br />of the off-sale intoxicating liquor license for <br />Budget Liquor. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Hankner closed the regular meeting and opened <br />the next pulic hearing at 7:42 PM. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley noted the .applicant is <br />current on all fees and payments, but the report <br />from the health department has not been received <br />yet. <br />There were no comments from the audience, so Mayor <br />Hankner closed the public hearing and reopened the <br />regular meeting at 7:43 PM. <br />• Motion/Second: Blanchard/Quick to approve the <br />renewal of the on-sale wine license for Bel-Rae <br />Ballroom, contingent upon a favorable report from <br />the health department. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Park, Recreation and Forestry Director Saarion <br />explained the suggested improvements for the Green- <br />field Park baseball field had been discussed at the <br />last agenda session. .Staff is recommending the Council <br />approve three phases of improvement. The costs are <br />estimates, and the work would be done as the money is <br />available. Ms. Saarion reviewed the work to be done, <br />including the installation of a-new backstop. That <br />would put the project over budget by $666, but the <br />MVAA would be willing to contribute that amount. If <br />this is approved tonight, work could begin this summer. <br />Wayne Burmeister, of the Park and Rec Commission, <br />stated the Commission has not had an opportunity to <br />review everything, but they have given conceptual <br />approval. <br />Motion Carried <br />14. Public Hearing: <br />Consideration <br />of On-Sale <br />Wine License <br />for Bel-Rae <br />Ballroom <br />Motion Carried <br />15. Approve Pro- <br />posal for <br />Greenfield Park <br />Baseball Field <br />Improvements <br />and Bids <br />• Mayor Hankner asked if it was possible to come up <br />with any other funds in the budget for this work at <br />this time. <br />
