Resolution 7904, Authorizing Step Increases for Police Chief Tom Kinney, <br /> Sergeant Timothy Wolf, Officer Nathan Garland, Public Works Supervisor <br /> Don Peterson, and a Longevity Increase for Officer Darrell Meyer. <br /> City Administrator Ericson stated that Staff was seeking approval of step increase for Police <br /> Chief Tom Kinney, Sergeant Timothy Wolf, Officer Nathan Garland, Public Works Supervisor <br /> Don Peterson and a longevity increase for Officer Darrell Meyer. He read Resolution 7904 in <br /> full and recommended the Council approve the Resolution authorizing the step increases. <br /> • Mayor Flaherty thanked Staff for bringing the step increases before the Council in a timely <br /> manner. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 868, an Ordinance Creating a <br /> New Chapter to Title 900 Regulating Illicit Discharge and Connections to <br /> Storm Drainage System. <br /> Public Works Director DeBar stated the City was responsible for maintaining an Municipal <br /> Separate Sewer System(MS4)permit. This permit was mandated by federal regulations and was <br /> administered locally by the MPCA. The permit allows Mounds View to discharge storm water <br /> into the state's lakes waters and wetlands. Part of the permit requirement was to have the City <br /> develop and Pollution Requirement a Storm Water Implementation Program(SPPPP). <br /> Public Works Director DeBar indicated the City is mandated to eliminate illlegal discharge and <br /> connections to the storm drainage system. In order to monitor and enforce these issues, the City <br /> • was required to adopt a new Ordinance. He reviewed revisions made to the Ordinance and <br /> recommended the Council adopt Ordinance 868 and publish a summary. <br />
