Set Public Hearing for Monday, March 12, 2012, at 7:05 p.m. for a Variance <br /> Appeal Request for a Garage to Exceed the Allowed Height Limit at 8027 <br /> Woodlawn Drive. <br /> B. Set a Public Hearing for Monday, March 12, 2012, at 7:10 p.m. for the <br /> Introduction and First Reading of an Ordinance Amending Zoning Code <br /> Chapter 1121 in Regard to Accessing Detached Parking Areas. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Approve Consent Agenda Items 8A and 8B. <br /> Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> C. Resolution 7907,Awarding Contract for Required City Fire Services. <br /> Mayor Flaherty indicated the City was part of a coalition for fire services. He requested further <br /> information on this item. City Administrator Ericson explained this contract provided for <br /> monitoring and testing of the City's fire alarm systems at City Hall and at the Community <br /> Center. It was a requirement to have the fire systems monitored and tested on a yearly basis. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Stigney. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7907, <br /> Awarding Contract for Required City Fire Services. <br /> • Council Member Stigney asked if the combined services contract reduced the overall expenses <br /> for the City. City Administrator Ericson stated this was the case. <br /> Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> 9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br /> Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Hull. To Approve the Just and Correct Claims as presented. <br /> Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> 10. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> None. <br /> 11. REPORTS <br /> A.
