<br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />Continued Public Hearing, Resolution 7941, Consider Approval of an Off Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for ABC Liquor located at 2840 County Highway 10. <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane stated this was a continued public hearing from the May 14th Council meeting for ABC Liquor’s off sale intoxicating liquor license. Proper notice <br /> was sent out by the City to surrounding properties within 300 feet of ABC Liquor’s and was published in the City’s official newspaper. She indicated property taxes were current, along <br /> with all City utilities and the Mounds View Police and Fire Department issued a satisfactory report. The City had not yet received the criminal background check from the Minnesota <br /> Bureau of Apprehension. Staff recommended approval of the off sale intoxicating liquor license pending receipt of a satisfactory criminal background check. If approved, the liquor <br /> license would be in effect from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty continued the public hearing. <br /> <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Flaherty closed the public hearing at 7:14 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7941, Consider Approval of an Off Sale Intoxicating Liquor License for ABC Liquor located at 2840 County Highway <br /> 10 contingent upon the receipt of a satisfactory criminal background check. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />Resolution 7956, Authorizing Severance Payment to Kathi Osmonson, Building Official/Fire Marshal. <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane stated that effective May 4, 2012, Kathi Osmonson resigned her position as Building Official/Fire Marshal with the City of Mounds View. According <br /> to the City’s personnel manual, Ms. Osmonson is authorized a sick time pay out into her retirement plan in the amount of $857.57. In addition, vacation time was also to be paid out <br /> for a total of $709.68. Staff recommended the Council authorize the severance payment to Ms. Osmonson. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7956, Authorizing Severance Payment to Kathi Osmonson, Building Official/Fire Marshal. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller thanked Kathi Osmonson for the outstanding work completed on behalf of the City of Mounds View. She wished her continued success in the future. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty agreed stating Ms. Osmonson was an outstanding employee for the City for many years. He indicated the City’s loss would be the State’s gain. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
