Mounds View City Council June 10, 2002 Regular Meeting Page 4 Community Development Director Ericson indicated that the SAC fee would be added to the tax roll as a special assessment but noted the property owner has an opportunity to pay the fee up front before it is assessed. He further commented that the fee is guaranteed. Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Thomas. To Approve Consent Agenda Item D as Presented. Council Member Marty questioned why the reference to the recent strike was included in the Resolution. City Administrator Miller indicated that anniversary dates were changed by the strike and the reference was for clarification in the future for anyone referring to the Resolution. Council Member Stigney asked if that would apply to all employees that went on strike. City Administrator Miller indicated that all employees that had been on strike would have their anniversary dates changed by the number of days they were on strike. Council Member Stigney asked that the Resolution be read. . Mayor Sonterre read Resolution 5783. Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. MOTION/SECOND: Sonterre/Quick. To Approve Consent Agenda Item E as Presented. Council Member Marty asked whether this was the only individual that applied. Mayor Sonterre indicated that this was the only application received. Council Member Marty commented that Council is normally given the application to review qualifications but he had not received this application. Mayor Sonterre indicated that the applicant had provided a very thorough application and noted he had given the application to Ms. Reed and had received a copy back in his box leading him to believe that all Council Members were copied. Mayor Sonterre noted that Mr. Madsen is a very involved resident with regards to traffic issues and development. He also noted he had spoken to Mr. Madsen on several occasions in an attempt to convince him to serve on the Committee and this time he has agreed. Council Member Marty said that in the future he would like to see the applications and asked if this was the last vacancy on the Commission.
