Mounds View City Council November 12, 2002 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br />• <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated he would need to check with the forester. <br />Council Member Marty asked what the check for teledac dialer service for $410.00 was for. <br />Finance Director Hansen indicated it has to do with the water meter reading system that is done <br />over the telephone lines. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Marty/Thomas. To Approve Just and Correct Claims as Presented. <br />Ayes - 5 <br />6. CONSENT AGENDA <br />Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />A. Resolution 5878 Authorizing Severance to Jim Atkinson <br />B. Resolution 5874 Approving a contract award for a Pilot Plant Study for Well No. <br />4 <br />C. Resolution 5875 Authorizing Preliminary Survey for the 2003 Street Improvement <br />Project <br /> <br />Council Member Marty requested that Item B be removed for discussion. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Thomas/Quick. To Approve Consent Agenda Items A and C as Presented. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />• <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Marty. To Approve Consent Agenda Item B as Presented. <br />Council Member Marty asked if the water from Well Number 4 was being blended with the <br />City's water. <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated the actual blending of water occurs routinely and is sent to <br />the same treatment plant but the City is not doing that with Well Number 4 until the nuclead <br />levels are determined. <br />Council Member Marty asked where the water would go that is pumped during the three-day <br />pilot testing. <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated it would be discharged to the wetland near there and the <br />outlets have been checked to make sure it could handle the capacity. <br />Ayes - 5 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />
