He then
thanked them for their efforts.
Council Member Marty asked why there was a credit on the credit card bill.
Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated he did not have the information to answer that
question.
Council Member Marry indicated that he had provided information to the previous City
Administrator concerning a coffee machine that employees would pay SO cents a cup for and it
makes all sorts of different coffee drinks. He then said that he would provide that information to
Mr. Ericson and asked him to research the matter.
Council Member Marty asked whether this would be the final bill to MMKR as it seems there is
a bill every month that is over $3,000.
Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated he would research whether this is the final bill.
Council Member Marty indicated had asked some questions of the City Attorney prior to the
meeting concerning the Kennedy & Graven invoices.
Council Member Stigney asked whether the check to Filter Fresh was for coffee for the
employees or for something else.
Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated that the coffee is for employees and everyone else.
Council Member Stigney asked whether the employees pay for coffee.
Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated they do not.
Council Member Stigney indicated that Council had asked the previous City Administrator to
discuss the matter with employees and see what their wishes are with regard to coffee.
Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated that all of the employees have indicated that they
would rather have the City pay for coffee.
Council Member Stigney said he disagrees with that and he would like Mr. Ericson to meet with
the employees and work on a solution.
Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated that employees are willing to do what Council feels
is appropriate. He then said that coffee is provided for various meetings and functions at City
Hall so there would be an expense to bring in coffee for those events if the City no longer
provided coffee.
