He then said that the
City is not sure that Comcast would be able to connect the golf course.
Council Member Stigney asked whether the system would give a breakdown of costs charged for
the round or just the number of rounds.
Golf Course Manager Burg indicated the system would provide any information asked for. She
then explained she had checked with other courses that are using the system the way the City
intends to and this is the system they were using.
Council Member Quick asked if the system would provide the total amount sold if the entire
course were rented out.
Golf Course Manager Burg indicated it would show the transactions for that time period but
would provide the information if it is entered into the system the number of people times the cost
of the rounds.
Council Member Quick asked if there is a policy for renting the entire course.
Golf Course Manager Burg indicated she had located an old contract for group rental but there is
no policy.
Council Member Stigney asked if the system would save Staff time or only provide better
information.
Golf Course Manager Burg indicated it would save her the time to drive the reporting
information to City Hall. She then explained that it would also save time entering the
information as well as eliminate possible entry errors. She also commented that it would provide
information to track the course better to allow for more efficient staffing which has the potential
to save the City money.
