Mounds View City Council Apri114, 2003 <br />Regular Meeting Page 9 <br />Ayes - 4 Nays - 1(Stigney) Motion carried. <br />Council Member Marty indicated he is in favor of rewarding employees for their service to the <br />City and commented that it is not uncommon to f nd employees working after hours and on <br />weekends to ensure that the job gets done. <br />7. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br />A. Just and Correct Claims <br />Council Member Marty pointed out Check Number 110647 to Kennedy and Graven for the <br />Hammerschmidt matter for $846.00. He then asked if the $668 for Jakes Cafe was for the <br />parking lot. <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated that the item references the easements the City is <br />trying to acquire for the trailway along County Road H2 in conjunction with the H2 <br />reconstruction. He then indicated that the amounts are not reimbursable from Jake's. <br />Council Member Marty asked if they were donating the land. <br />Interim City Administrator Ericson indicated that Jake's is donating the land for the trailway but <br />the City has some expense in having easement documents prepared. <br />Council Member Marry asked for clarification on Check Number 110679 for $1,200 for the <br />water tank and asked if it was a final payment. <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated this would be the last bill submitted until the City <br />authorizes the project to move forward. <br />Council Member Marty asked what the miscellaneous item was for. <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that SEH is the City's City Engineer of record and each year <br />conducts an MSA survey for the City. The next item is for the Gustafson development for <br />engineering review of the site. The next item is for wells one and two to ensure that the City is <br />replacing the right parts. The final item is for mileage as the City pays SEH mileage to travel to . <br />the site. <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated he is considering adding himself as the City Engineer so <br />that he can handle some of these issues rather than contracting with SEH. <br />Council Member Marty asked for further information on the County Road H sidewalk for $2,000. <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that Staff is putting together a feasibility study for that to <br />provide to Council at the next meeting. <br />
