To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 6170, a <br />to Resolution Approving the 2003 L.E.L.S. Loca1232 Labor Agreement. <br />11 <br />12 Council Member Stigney asked if the language covers a new hire or a promotion. <br />13 <br />14 City Administrator Ulrich indicated it would apply to either a new hire or a promotion. <br />15 <br />16 Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />17 <br />18 F. Resolution 6177, a Resolution Approving a Permit Application for Merrick, <br />19 Inc., a Charitable Organization to Conduct Charitable Gambling at Robert's <br />20 Sports Bar and Entertainment Located in the City of Mounds View. <br />21 <br />22 Council Member Marty asked whether a condition of approval is that most of the funds would be <br />• 23 spent in Mounds View. <br />24 <br />25 Desaree Crane indicated that she would receive tax documents as well as a list of where the <br />26 money is spent. <br />27 <br />28 MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Stigney. Resolution 6173, a Resolution Authorizing the Replacement of the Police <br />36 Department's Automatic External Defibrillators Utilizing Grant Funds, <br />37 Grant Matching Funds and Forfeiture Funds. <br />38 <br />39 Council Member Marty asked whether the one needing work would be repaired. <br />40 <br />41 Chief Sommer indicated that it is usually cost prohibitive. <br />42 <br />43 Chief Sommer explained that the grant from the American Heart Association allows the City to <br />44 purchase $10,700 worth of defibrillators for expending $2,000. <br />• 45 <br />
