Ms. <br />Prososki confirmed that Integra Homes plans to sell Parcel A. <br />Mayor Marty noted that it states in the resolution that Parcel B must be platted as part of the <br />subdivision within one year and if not, it would have to be included with the adjacent property in <br />order to avoid an land-lock situation. <br />MOTION/SECONI}. Resolution 6506 Adopting an Investment Policy <br />Mayor Marty stated that Finance Director Hansen has been working on this policy for quite <br />awhile adding that he did an excellent job with the last draft. He thanked Finance Director <br />Hansen and Staff for a job well done on the Investment Policy. He stated that this is an excellent <br />piece of work and thanked Finance Director Hansen for leaving the City with such a great piece <br />of work. <br />• Council Member Sti e asked if the olicies could be numbered for better identification. <br />~ Y p <br />Finance Director Hansen explained that the policy would be numbered once it is approved. <br />MOTION/SECOND. Marty/Gunn To Approve Resolution 6506 Adopting an Investment Policy <br />and waive the reading. <br />Ayes-5 Nays-0 Motion carried. <br />F. Resolution 6511 Approving the Agreements for Financial Services with <br />Ehlers & Associates and Springsted, Inc. for the Year 2005 <br />Finance Director Hansen stated that there are certain tasks that have to be done each year that <br />require a specialized skill set. He explained that a group that specializes in the specific areas <br />should do the tasks. He stated that TIF reporting is a good example and recommended hiring a <br />specialized group to do the TIF reporting this year and continue to have Springsted do the <br />disclosure reporting. He stated that it would cost $1200.00 to do the TIF reports noting that <br />Ehlers would bill for the actual time spent preparing the reports. He provided the Council with <br />an overview of the costs for each of the reports. <br />• Council Member Flaherty referenced the TIF reports and asked if they could use the same format <br />as last year and update the numbers. <br />
