Mounds View City Council June 13, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br />• <br />• <br />Mayor Marty had the following questions: <br />• Page 5, 116169-Anoka County - He asked what the Joint Powers Agreement is for. Public <br />Works Director Lee explained that the joint powers agreement is with the Cities of Spring <br />Lake Park and Anoka County for the traffic signals located at Pleasantview and County Road <br />10. He stated that it was installed in 2002 and is a one-time payment. <br />• Page 7, 116188, Sun Newspaper ad for $506.00. City Clerk/Administrator Ulrich confirmed <br />that the ad was for the replacement of the Finance Director. <br />• Page 10, Bonestroo, Rosene and Anderlik, 2003 Street Improvement project for $3,304.00 - <br />Is this a final payment. Public Works Director Lee stated that this is a bill from January 30 to <br />March 31St noting that Bonestroo was in the process of upgrading their invoicing software <br />and was behind in their monthly billing. He stated that this is a two-month bill noting that <br />there would be additional bills coming for the 2003 Street project. <br />• Hidden Hollow utility improvements second access - He asked if this would be passed on to <br />the developers or would this be a City cost. Public Works Director Lee stated that he would <br />have to review the hill as there was a cost split for a utility access that was installed as a part <br />of the project. He stated that a portion is City cost and a portion would be a cost to the <br />developer and would have to be split out. <br />• Status on the County Highway 10 improvements - Public Works Director Lee stated that the <br />project mgmt team is meeting this Thursday. <br />Mayor Marty called a brief recess due to inclement weather at 7:20 p.m. <br />Mayor Marty called the meeting back to order at 7:50 p.m. <br />MOTION/SECOND. Gunn/Flaherty. To approve the Just and Correct Claims as presented. <br />Ayes - 5 <br />8. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />Nays - 0 Motion carried. <br />A. 7:05 p.m. Public Hearing, Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance 759 <br />Amending Section 4.02 of the Mounds View City Charter, Filing for Office. <br /> <br />Administrative Assistant Crane stated that the City Council approved the first reading and <br />introduction of the Ordinance 759 amending section 4.02 of the Mounds View City Charter at the <br />May 23rd City Council meeting. She stated that corrections were made to the first reading adding <br />that staff has reviewed the changes and supports adoption of the ordinance. Staff recommends a <br />public hearing considering the second reading and also requires a roll call vote. <br />Council Member Thomas asked for clarification on the changes. <br />Administrative Assistant Crane stated that Minnesota Statute 205.1.3 was originally mistyped. <br />She stated that it was originally written as 202.1.3. <br />
